WHAT THE BILLS DO

Rent — heavy 3-hit block. Still alive when the statement is due? It docks Credit.

Sub Stack — ignore it 8s and it renews: tougher, and it spawns a $2.99 mini-charge.

Copay — splits into two micro-bills on first hit. Overpayment clears it whole.

Student Loan — glows "compounding" and ignores the first hit of every ball life.

Crypto Loss — volatile. Random pump or rug on hit, and it shakes the screen.

Utilities — every hit bumps Inflation +2%, shrinking your paddle.

BNPL — "4 easy payments." First hit splits it into two half-width bills.

Annual Renewal — locked boss. Clear 3 other bills to unlock it. Drops a power-up.

Refund — GOOD! A falling gift. Smash it for a bonus. Let it hit the floor and lose Credit.

Paycheck paddle — shrinks as inflation rises (never below 55%). Grab power-ups to fight back.

Overpayment — next hit pays a bill off in full, split rules and all. Balance Transfer — paddle widens 35% for 8 seconds. Side Hustle — splits your payment into extra balls. Autopay — the ball pierces through the next 4 bills. Chargeback — instantly clears every zombie sub and micro-bill. Emergency Fund — banks +15 Credit. Auto-spends at 15, or press E.

HOW YOU LOSE

Credit hits 0 ("Declined everywhere"), Total Debt on screen tops the month's cap ("You're underwater"), or you keep dropping payments you can't afford. Interest keeps piling on — watch the pips, and don't let a Sub Stack renew.

How to play

Pay the bills. Bounce the payment coin off your paycheck paddle to smash every debt brick.
Beat the interest. Bricks accrue interest pips; ignore them and they spawn micro-bills. Hitting a brick resets it.
Fight inflation. Utilities and time raise inflation, which shrinks your paddle. Balance Transfer buys it back.
Grab the drops. Power-ups fall as receipts — catch them for loans, splits, and swarms. Never miss a Refund.
