FIELD GUIDE

▲Requiem craft — four unlockable ships, each with its own hull, score, tempo, and weapon. The white dot is your true hitbox.

◇Metronome bar — bottom center. Ticks converge on the beat; tap when they meet to crescendo.

▮Groove meter — left edge, nine stages of the selected ship's signature weapon. It drains while you're quiet; keep tapping on beat.

✦Cadenza — land 4 PERFECT taps in a row for four beats of faster, harder fire and a local bullet clear.

◎Graze — skim enemy bullets with your ship's wings for bonus score and a little more time before your Groove decays.

⬡The Muted — silenced squadrons. They only fire on the beat; hear the rhythm, read the bullets.

𝄐Fermata — a screen-clearing bomb, earned with an 8-tap on-beat streak. Spend it with B.

♛Section leaders — a boss ends each movement. Silence all four and the world sings again.

AGamepad — left stick or D-pad moves, A taps, B/RB drops a Fermata, and Start pauses.

How to play

The soundtrack is the game. Every drum, bassline and arp is synthesized live, and it grows a layer each movement. Enemies fire on the beat — if you can hear it, you can dodge it.
Choose your instrument. Aria's Harmonic Array fills the field, Vesper's Prism Lance pierces a narrow lane, Counterpoint's Canon Drones weave together, and Virtuoso's Baton Rail accents every beat. Their tempos and live arrangements are different too.
Tap on the beat to power up. Each on-beat tap climbs the selected ship's nine-stage weapon ladder. Off-beat taps knock you down a rung; every craft develops in a different way.
Play the center of the beat. The cyan zone is good; the narrow gold zone is PERFECT. Chain four PERFECT taps to trigger a four-beat Cadenza: faster fire, extra damage, and a close-range bullet clear.
Graze the danger. Your white center dot is the true hitbox. Let bullets pass through the wings to earn graze score and delay Groove decay.
Silence is decay. The groove meter drains a level every few seconds you don't tap. Great players play the game like a metronome — dodge with one hand, keep time with the other.
Fermata bombs. An 8-tap on-beat streak banks a Fermata (max 2): a screen-clearing hold that erases every bullet, Raiden-style.
Keep the combo singing. Kills raise your multiplier up to ×5. Taking a hit resets it and drops two weapon levels — the score chase is a no-hit chase.
Four movements, four bosses. The Timpanist, the First Chair, the Metronome… and Him. Each movement is faster, higher, louder.
Earn the ovation. Every section ends with a D-to-S grade and score bonus based on beat accuracy, PERFECT timing, grazes, and taking no damage.
Controller ready. Left stick/D-pad moves, A taps, B or RB bombs, and Start pauses. Rhythm actions trigger once per press, never from holding a button.
Encore. Fall once and a quick ad revives you with full health (Pro members take their encore free).
